The Arab Thought Forum and the Ibn Battuta International Center for Cultural Studies are pleased to announce the 4th Ibn Battuta International Conference, scheduled to take place on October 5–6, 2025, in Amman, Jordan, under the distinguished patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal.

Titled “Journeys, Crossroads, and Civilizational Encounters: Ibn Battuta in a Changing World,” the conference will bring together scholars, researchers, and cultural practitioners from around the globe to reflect on the legacy of the famed traveler Ibn Battuta. The conference aims to situate Ibn Battuta’s journeys within the broader contexts of mobility, migration, identity, and civilizational dialogue in today’s rapidly changing world.
