The 4th Ibn Battuta International Conference in Amman

The 4th Ibn Battuta International Conference, under the patronage of HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal, will be held on October 5–6, 2025, in Amman, Jordan. Organized by the Arab Thought Forum and the Ibn Battuta International Center for Cultural Studies, the conference explores the theme “Journeys, Crossroads, and Civilizational Encounters: Ibn Battuta in a Changing World.” It brings together global scholars to examine Ibn Battuta’s legacy and the contemporary relevance of travel, mobility, and intercultural dialogue.
